To add your Splash page into the Cisco Meraki access point you will firstly need to login to your Meraki Dashboard. Once you have successfully logged in please follow the steps below.

1) Splash Page Settings

  1. Click on Wireless – Splash Page
  2. Select your SSID from the drop down
  3. Under Custom splash URL :
    1. Select ‘Or provide a URL where users will be redirected’
    2. Enter the URL of the Splash page into the input box i.e https://www.splashaccess.com/mypage
  4. Under Splash behavior :
    1. Change the Splash frequency to Every day
    2. Where should users go after the splash page? Set this to A different URL and add the Success URL provided by Splash Access or your destination of choice. In the Splash Access portal enter the ‘Access Point location’ menu. Enter your Meraki AP mac address into this section and the forwarding URL. If you do not wish to enter the URL here, you will need to enter it on a global level on the Meraki portal.
  5. Click on Save Changes

2) Access Control Settings

  1. Click on Wireless – Access Control
  2. Under Network Access :-
  3. In Association requirements – Select ‘Open (no encryption)’
  4. In Splash page – Select ‘Click-through’
  5. Scroll down to Walled Garden and Select Walled Garden is Enabled from the drop down
  6. In Walled Garden Ranges – copy and paste this list:

  8. Click on Save Changes

3) Secure WPA2 Wi-Fi Setup with QR Codes

  1. Access your Meraki Dashboard via – (Organization, Settings – scroll to Dashboard API access and click on profile link, scroll to API access – API key)
  2. Copy API key and select done. If you do not have an API key, click Generate API key. You can revoke this at any time.
  3. Login to your Splash Access Portal, navigate to General Settings and enter Meraki API details and required network, organisation and SSID settings from the drop-down menus.
  4. Go to ‘Secure Guest Wi-Fi’, edit your QR settings and click to generate code.
  5. Click URL to display your QR page
